Build an untimed chain that returns to its first letter. Practice is available before or after a game and does not change scores.
You and the AI take turns saying words. Each new word must start with the last letter of the word before it. If the last word ends in T, your word starts with T.
Words need at least 3 letters. You cannot use a word that is already in the chain. The word must be in our word list.
You have a timer for every word. It gets shorter as the game goes on. If it runs out, you lose a heart. Lose all 3 hearts and the game is over.
You score for the length of your word and for the seconds you had left. Answer in the first half of the timer and your combo grows, up to x3. A slow answer resets it. Ending a word on Q, X, Z, J, V or K gives a 25 point bonus.
If the AI cannot find a word, you stumped it. You get a big bonus and one heart back. The Hint button shows the first and last letter of a word, but it resets your combo.
