How to play Spot the Difference
You see two pictures side by side, A and B. Each one is a grid of small emoji tiles. The two grids look the same, but a few tiles are different. Find them all before the clock runs out.
- Tap a tile in either picture that does not match its twin. A green ring means you found one.
- Tap tiles that do match and you lose 3 seconds. The pictures shake and the tile turns red.
- Find every difference to clear the level. Faster finds earn more points.
Combos, hints and levels
Each find is worth 100 points. Find another within 4 seconds and the score goes up: 200, 300, 400, then 500 for each find in a chain. Clear a level with seconds to spare and you get 10 bonus points per second. A level with no wrong taps gives 250 more.
A difference can be a different emoji, a missing emoji, a turned emoji, a smaller emoji or an upside-down emoji. Early levels only swap or remove tiles. The odd ones appear later.
Press Hint and one difference glows. You start with 3 hints and win one more for clearing level 5, 10, 15 and so on. You can hold at most 5.
There are 30 levels. The grid grows from 4 by 4 to 5 by 5 and then 6 by 6, and there are more differences to find. Every 5 levels you save a checkpoint, so Continue takes you back to the next level. Your best score and best level are saved in this browser.
