How to play Prime Hunter
Numbers fall from the top of the board. Tap every prime number before it hits the floor. A prime is a number that can only be divided evenly by 1 and by itself. For example, 7 and 13 are prime. 9 is not, because 3 times 3 is 9.
- Prime? Tap it before it lands.
- Not prime? Leave it alone. If you let it fall, you get 1 point.
- Mistakes: tapping a number that is not prime, or letting a prime hit the floor, costs one life. You start with 3 lives.
Scoring and levels
A right tap scores 10 points times your level times your combo. Every 4 right taps in a row raise the combo by one, up to x5. A mistake resets it. Catch enough primes and you move up a level. Each level brings bigger numbers and faster falling, and gives back one life (you can hold up to 5). Your best score is saved on this device.
When the game ends, it shows the numbers that tripped you up and why.
Factor Detective
Under the game, Factor Detective is a calm practice area with no timer. Pick any number from 2 to 1000 and test small divisors to find out if it is prime.
