How to play Number Bonds
You get 60 seconds. Tap two tiles that add up to the target number. Pick your target at the top: make 10, make 20, or make 100. For example, with a target of 10, tap 3 and 7.
- Right pair: the two tiles are replaced with new ones, and you earn a little extra time. The extra time is 1 second at first and gets smaller as you go up levels. You move up a level after every 8 pairs.
- Wrong pair: you lose 2 seconds.
- Stuck? If you wait about 5 seconds, the game makes a pair of tiles glow to give you a hint.
Scoring
Each right pair scores 10 points. Make the next pair within 3 seconds and you build a combo. A combo multiplies your points, up to x5. A wrong pair, or waiting too long, ends the combo. Your best score for each target is saved on this device.
Bond Ladder practice
Under the game, the Bond Ladder is a calm practice area with no clock. You see one number and type the partner that makes the target.
