How to use the Magic 8-Ball
Think of a yes-or-no question, type it in if you like, then tap the ball, swipe it from side to side, press Space or tap Shake. The ball swirls for a moment and then shows one of 20 answers. Each answer is picked at random, and the game never repeats the answer you just got. It is for fun and cannot tell you anything about the future.
The 20 answers are the classic ones: 10 are positive, 5 are unsure, and 5 are negative. The Oracle Codex under the ball tracks which ones you have found, and the game keeps your last 10 readings. A button near the history turns on phone shaking, so you can shake your phone instead of tapping.
Fate Streak mode
In Fate Streak you play 10 rounds. Before each shake you guess whether the ball will say Yes, Maybe or No. A right guess scores points: 1 if the ball said Yes, 2 if it said Maybe or No, because those answers are rarer. Each right guess in a row raises a multiplier, up to times 5. A wrong guess resets it to 1. Your best score and best streak are saved in this browser.
