How to play Jetpack Climb
Jetpack Climb is a free climbing game you play in your browser. You steer a small rocket pack up through a tall sky. Each barrier has one gap. Fly through it and you score.
Controls
On a phone, press and hold the screen to fire the jetpack. Slide your finger left or right to steer. Let go and you fall. On a keyboard, hold Space, Up or W to thrust, and use the Left and Right arrows (or A and D) to steer.
Fuel
Thrusting uses fuel. The fuel bar is at the top of the screen. When you stop thrusting for a moment, it slowly fills back up. Green fuel cells floating in the air add some back.
Points
- Passing a barrier gives 1 point.
- Passing close to the middle of the gap is a perfect pass. It gives more points, and the bonus grows with every perfect pass in a row.
- Each gold coin gives 2 points.
When the run ends
You crash if you touch a barrier. You also lose if you fall off the bottom, because the screen slowly scrolls up and will not wait for you. Keep climbing.
It gets harder
The gaps get narrower and the barriers come faster. Later on, some barriers sway from side to side. Every 100 metres you climb, a message pops up.
