How to play Hex Match
The board is a honeycomb of coloured hexes. Tap a group of 3 or more touching hexes of the same colour to clear it. Hexes above fall down and new ones drop in from the top. Reach the level's score goal before your 20 moves run out.
- Bigger groups score much more. Clear 6 or more to leave a bomb where you tapped. Clearing a bomb blasts every hex around it.
- Clear 9 or more to leave a prism. Clearing a prism wipes every hex of its colour from the board.
- If falling hexes land as a new group of 6 or more, it clears by itself as a chain, and each chain step raises the multiplier.
- Clear 4 or more on back-to-back moves (or trigger a chain) to build a streak that multiplies your score, up to 5x.
Levels and controls
There are 50 levels. The first 9 use 5 colours and goals from 500 to 5,000 points. A sixth colour joins at level 10, and the goals start again lower. Moves left at the end pay a bonus. Each colour also has its own symbol on the hex, so you can play without telling colours apart. On a keyboard use the arrow keys to move, Enter to clear and H for a hint.
