How to play Grav Orbit
You launch a small satellite into space. Planets pull it toward them, so its path bends. Your job is to steer that path through every gold star before the fuel runs out.
- Press and drag backward anywhere on the field, then let go. The satellite shoots the opposite way, like a slingshot. A longer pull means a faster launch.
- A dotted line shows the first part of the path. On later levels that line gets shorter, so you have to judge more of the curve yourself.
- You have 10 seconds of fuel for each launch. The bar at the top shows what is left.
- Touching a planet, flying off the field, or running out of fuel costs one of your 3 lives. Stars you already caught stay caught when you try again.
- On a keyboard, use the arrow keys to aim and set power, then press Space or Enter to launch.
Scoring
Catching several stars in one launch builds a chain worth 100, then 200, then 300 and so on. Swinging all the way around a planet adds 50. Each cleared level pays 150 plus 25 for every level number, plus 10 for each second of fuel you had left. Clear a level on your first launch for a Perfect bonus of 250 more and one life back. Your best score and best level are saved in this browser. The levels never end, and later ones add more planets, up to three, some of them moving.
