Emoji decode game: how to play Emoji Decode
Each puzzle shows a few emojis. Together they spell out a word or a short phrase. Your job is to work out what it is. A bear and a snowflake, for example, make a polar bear.
Type your answer in the box and press Submit. You get two tries for every puzzle. A close spelling still counts. Below the emojis you see one box per letter, so you know how long the answer is.
A round has 10 puzzles. They start easy, get tricky in the middle, and end with devious ones. A right answer on the first try earns 100 points. If you get it on the second try, you earn half. Each hint costs 25 points and reveals one letter. Press Skip if you give up. The game shows you the answer and moves on.
Get puzzles right one after another and you build a streak. Every puzzle in the streak after the first adds 20 bonus points, up to 100 extra. Missing a puzzle ends the streak. That means both tries wrong, or a skip.
When the round ends you see your score and a recap. Your best score and best streak are saved in this browser. There are 100 puzzles in total, so you will see new ones each round. Want something different? Try the other word games.
