How to play Dice Roller
Roll virtual dice right on your screen. Tap Roll, or tap the dice tray, or press Space. The dice tumble and land on random numbers. Every roll is fair.
Free Roll
Pick the kind of die: d4, d6, d8, d10, d12 or d20. The number is how many sides it has. Use the + and − buttons to roll from 1 to 6 dice at once. After a roll, tap a die to hold it. A held die stays put when you roll again. The game shows your total, your average and the average you should expect. Rolling the top number on every die is a max roll.
Target Run
This is a 10 round game with six-sided dice. Each round gives you a target number. Get your dice to add up to it. You can roll up to 3 times. Hold the dice you like and re-roll the rest. Press Bank to lock in your total, or let the game bank it for you on your third roll or when you hit the target. Rounds 1 to 3 use 2 dice, rounds 4 to 7 use 3 dice, and rounds 8 to 10 use 4 dice.
- Exactly on target: 100 points, plus 25 for each roll you did not use.
- Off by 1: 50 points. Off by 2: 25 points. Off by 3: 10 points. More than that: nothing.
- Hit the target in a row and your exact hits get a multiplier of up to times 5.
Keyboard: Space or Enter rolls, B banks, and the number keys 1 to 6 hold or release a die. Your best Target Run score and your dice settings are saved in this browser.
