How to play Crazy Eights online
Crazy Eights is a card game against the computer. Be the first to get rid of all your cards.
How a round works
- You and the computer each get 7 cards. One card is turned face up to start the discard pile.
- On your turn, play a card that has the same suit or the same number as the top card. Tap a card to play it. Cards you can play are lifted and outlined.
- An 8 is wild. You can play it on anything. Then you pick the suit the next player has to match.
- If you cannot play, tap the deck to draw one card (or press D). If that card fits, play it. If not, your turn passes.
- If the deck runs out, the discard pile is shuffled to make a new one.
Scoring
The round ends when someone plays their last card. That player scores the points left in the other hand. An 8 is worth 50. J, Q and K are worth 10 each. An ace is worth 1. Other cards are worth their number. If nobody can play, the hand with fewer points wins the difference.
Keep playing rounds. The first player to reach 100 points wins the match.
Difficulty
Pick Easy, Normal or Hard to change how well the computer plays. The Hand planner under the table can help you decide what to play.
