Play Cookie Clicker: tap a cookie, buy helpers, bake a million
Cookie Clicker is a free idle game. You tap the big cookie to bake cookies. Then you spend them on helpers that bake for you, even when you are not tapping. Your goal is to bake 1,000,000 cookies in total.
How to play
- Tap the cookie. Each tap makes at least one cookie. Tap fast and you build a combo that makes every tap worth more, up to three times as much.
- Buy buildings. There are seven: Cursor, Grandma, Farm, Mine, Factory, Temple and Portal. Each one bakes cookies by itself every second. Every one you buy makes the next one of the same kind cost 15% more. Use the x1, x10 and Max buttons to buy in bulk.
- Buy the Rolling Pin. It doubles what a tap is worth, and adds a little extra based on how fast your bakery runs. You can upgrade it 10 times.
- Catch golden cookies. Now and then a golden cookie pops up for about nine seconds. Tap it for a free pile of cookies, or for a short boost: seven times the baking speed for 20 seconds, or ten times the tap value for 10 seconds.
- Collect badges. There are 15 achievements, from your first 100 cookies to a billion.
Saving and being away
The game saves on your device in your browser, under cookie-clicker:v1. There is no account and nothing to download. When you come back, your bakery has kept working at half speed for up to eight hours. If you press New Game, your cookies and buildings reset, but your badges and best time stay.
