How to play Color Rain
Colored raindrops fall from the sky and your bucket sits at the bottom, painted one of four colors: red, blue, green or yellow. Slide on the play area, or use the arrow keys, to move the bucket under the drops. Catch a drop that matches your bucket to score. Catch the wrong color, or let a storm drop land in the bucket, and you lose a life. You start with three lives and can hold up to five.
- Switching color: tap the rain or one of the color buttons below the game to change your bucket's color before a drop arrives.
- Combos: every five matching catches in a row raises your multiplier, up to times five. Letting a drop of your own color fall past the bucket resets it.
- Rainbow drops fit any bucket and score five points, before your multiplier. They start at level 2.
- Hearts give a life back, from level 3. Storm drops, the dark ones with a lightning bolt, appear from level 4 and must be dodged.
- Levels: every ten catches starts a new level, with faster rain and a quicker spawn rate.
Turn on the shape option under the game to put a symbol on each drop and the bucket, so you can match by shape instead of color. Your best score is saved in this browser only.
