How to play Bubble Pop
A wall of coloured bubbles hangs at the top. You shoot more bubbles up at it. Clear the whole wall to win the level.
- Press and hold on the board to aim. Let go to shoot. On a keyboard, use the left and right arrows to aim and Space to shoot.
- When your bubble touches the wall, it sticks. If it joins 2 or more bubbles of the same colour, all of them pop. That makes a group of 3 or more.
- Bubbles left hanging with nothing holding them up fall down. That scores extra.
- Every few shots a new row drops from the top: every 6 shots on levels 1 to 9, every 5 on levels 10 to 19, every 4 after that. The status line under the score counts down. If any bubble crosses the red line, the game is over.
Swap, stars and special bubbles
Tap the loaded bubble or the NEXT bubble to swap them. On a keyboard, press S. You earn 1 to 3 stars on each level: the fewer shots you use, the more stars. There are 40 levels, then endless play. Your best score and stars are saved on this device.
As you level up, special bubbles show up: Frost Bubble (level 3), Bomb (5), Stone (7), Rainbow (9), Lightning (12), Paint Splash (15), Clock (18) and Magnet (21). The game shows a short note when each one first appears.
